Definitely smiled, AND laughed. And a very photogenic family indeed. Nice work.
Ok, so every once and awhile I have to catch up on a brazillion *snicker* posts that you've posted and I end up sitting here for like, an hour laughing and pretending that the tears are from laughing and then leaving a great comment like this one which ends up being way longer than a comment should be, but since this is my comment and my sister, I can do what I like.
Why do we have so much when so many people have so little? It makes you recount all the things you have and all of a (the? bwa ha ha, where is joel to save himself) sudden their value changes. Par example: this half bowl of neglected granola that I'm not going to eat, but instead am going to feed to the toilet fishies. How many people would ration this soggy half-bowl for a day's worth of food for an overgrown family? How do we change this from a problem to a solution while at the same time not westernizing the entire world? Which brings me to another thing, we assume that "fixing" a population of people is to make them like us. How do we refrain from corrupting a humble society while aiding them? (the sappiness of this comment can be blamed partially on Jeff Buckley crooning "Hallelujah" in the background) My last answerless question is: are we meant to solve all these earthly problems even if it were possible?
Much love to my sister of one.
