You HAVE to be nice to me today

I have a sticker that says so. And this isn't like the time I made them give me a 'Be nice to me - I gave blood today' sticker even though I fainted after the pricking so that I could stick it on my bio final and get an extra 2%. I actually GAVE BLOOD!

Ok, well, 2/3 of a bag. And then the blood stopped coming out and they readjusted the needle and I went a little grey and they cut me off.

But 2/3 of a bag! We're calling this a triumph. Not, like, a mighty triumph, but one that deserves cookies and juice.

Proud of you. I'm a fainter too. And I know this not from trying to share my blood for a worthy cause, but from when they draw blood for medical testing. To see if I have diabetes and whatnot.

I'm perfectly healthy. No diabetes or whatnot. But the world starts spinning, stars appear, sounds fade, whenever they put that needle in that vein...

so proud of you I am!
Alas, I cannot give for a year... apparently Korea isn't 1st world country enough and disease may or may not run rampant here so instead of taking my sweet, fast flowing blood (I think my record is 5.5 minutes) they will have to wait. Fine. I like my blood right where it is thank you very much.

You got farther than me...I also tried to give blood today but they didn't let me past the finger-prick...stupid iron levels...

Also, getting a MMR booster means 3 months off of the giving table. They are always extra nice to me since I have O- blood. "Oh, hello, Mr. Universal Donor! Please allow us to steal some of your life liquid."

And not just the generic cookies and juice. Oh, no. Not even Oreos. That sounds like it deserves the premium Pepperidge Farm cookies with the special chocolate fringe and the extra sugar rush, and the special juice. 100% juice, for a 100% awesome gal.

I'm a fainter too. I've tried donating 3 times now, just donating plasma and I react each time. If only there were some other way I could sell my body. :)
