The arrival of the cavalry.

Joel was gone for a week, so my parents came! We have been doing seasonal things. 

Also practical things! Now my crisper drawer is clean and my dishwasher actually washes my dishes and my toilet seat doesn't nail you in the back when you sit down and my winter tires are on and my garden is all dug up. 

Look at all them empty pots. 

So thankful for family that visits, for healthy children, healthy parents. So thankful for this beautiful, beautiful city. 

Also for this pumpkin pie. It was pretty great.
