So that she looks even more like a banker.
She is still, obviously, the world's most beautiful baby etc etc etc, but she's developed a weepy stink-eye (it is probably a clogged tear duct and I am hot-compressing the shit out of it) and a receding hairline.
I still love her a lot, I just make fun of her more.

Don't worry. She won't resent that.
One (maybe two?) of my kids had goopy eyes all the time. One time one of them woke up with an eye all puffed out and swollen shut! It's yucky but nothing to get too worried about. Hot compresses are magical. (P.S. I have officially turned into my mother, who never remembered which kid had/did what.)
