5 days and counting...

i don't have much to post these days...getting ready to leave.

yesterday, everyone took me to this waterpark on top of a massive mall in bang was supposed to be a surprise until, i guess, the day before, but then no one ended up telling me, so when the fallses came to pick me up yesterday morning, there i was still in my jammies, drinking coffee.

today i ate a bowl of soup that tasted like human spit.

that's about all.

Hi Rach;
I've beem following your blogs of Thailand since 'day 1' and procrastinating at leaving comments until now. I just realized that you are a few days from returning home and so this would be my last chance to respond.
I have completely enjoyed your adventure, and especially your ability to tell a story. I felt like I was reading 'Bridget Jones Diary of a Mission Trip'. There were times when I laughed out loud at work (people wondered about me), and times when tears welled up (people worried about me). Note to self - read blogs in the privacy of home.
I want to thank you for taking the time to share your experiences, your tender heart and your sharp wit. I feel like I know you a lot better now.
Those boys were fortunate to have you this summer. It really comes across in your writing how much you care for them so I'm guessing that leaving will be bitter sweet.
I pray for your safe return, and for someone very special to take over the joyful task of loving those boys as you did.
Love from your auntie Sandy
PS. When you write your novel, I'll be buying the first copy!
